Final Runway 26

Seeing that sunset whilst on final approach is certainly one of our favourite ways to end a busy day!

Pictured is one of Airline Pilot Academy‘s latest graduates, Benjamin, flying the Beechcraft Duchess during his MECPL training…but did you know as a modular student at BCFT you can choose to do either single or multi-engine CPL?

If you’re researching the next step after the ATPL theory or want to find out about all the flight training that we offer then get in touch –, 01202 596 955.

We talk a lot about the Commercial Flight Training that we offer but what do you know of Bournemouth?

BCFT is based at Bournemouth International Airport in Dorset, on the South Coast of England and with arguably some of the best flying conditions in the UK, it is an ideal location to complete your training.
Outside of flying and studying, the lively town of Bournemouth has plenty to offer students. Being a popular tourist destination, Bournemouth has an abundance of excellent restaurants, bars and nightclubs to help students unwind. Bournemouth is also home to 7 miles of award-winning beaches, with two traditional piers and regular water sports activities.

The best bit? We have our own hotel which is open to just our students and is conveniently located on the cliff top. This gives easy access to the town and the beach, as you can see from this photo which our students Ian and Daniel took.

Max Lands First Job

Sorry, we’ve been so quiet recently – we’ve had a few technical issues…but what better way to pipe back up than with a massive congratulations to Max! Max graduated with us at the end of November, completed his MCC/JOC at Simtech Flight Simulation in December and just this week landed his first job with Ryanair! (Pun intended)

Well done from the whole team at BCFT and best of luck with your type rating!
